How do I enter courses?    Top
Tap the “+” button on the application navigation bar located at the top of the “Courses” screen to begin entering a new course.

There are three screens for entering a new course. Navigate between the screens by tapping the “Next” and “Prev” buttons at the bottom of the screen. The first collects general course information such as name, tees, slope, rating, and number of holes. The course slope and rating are not required to save the course but are necessary to compute your handicap index. The next two screens collect the hole information for the front and back nines for the course. Par and yardage for each hole are required to save the course. Use the “Next” and “Prev” buttons on the keyboard toolbar to navigate through the textfields. The keyboard is hidden by tapping the “Done” button on the keyboard toolbar.

How do I view my golf stats?    Top
Tapping the “Stats” button on the “Courses” screen toolbar will bring up your overall stats. Tapping the “Course Stats” button on the “Rounds” screen toolbar will bring up your course stats. Tapping the “Round Stats” button on the “Scorecard” screen toolbar will bring up your individual round stats.
How do I view my handicap index?    Top
Golf Stat will compute overall handicap indexes and course specific handicap indexes. The overall index is displayed by tapping the “Index” button on the “Courses” screen toolbar. The Course Index is displayed by tapping the “Course Index” button on the “Rounds” screen toolbar. A minimum of five valid rounds is necessary to compute a handicap index. A round is considered invalid if the course information is missing slope or rating values and if any hole scores have not been entered for the round.

Nine hole scores are paired to form an eighteen hole score for handicap index purposes. The slope and rating for nine hole courses should be entered to take this into account.
How do I text, email, and print my stats?    Top
Texting, emailing, and printing is accessed by tapping the “Action” button on the toolbar at the bottom of each stat screen and selecting the appropriate action. Options may vary depending on the platform, iPhone or iPod Touch, and if an email account has been set up. Each action will present the appropriate app on your device.

Individual round scores and average scores for individual courses can be sent via text from the “Course Stat” and “Round Stat” screens respectively. Due to the lack of formatting in a text message, stats cannot be sent via text.

All the information shown on the “Stats”, “Course Stats”, and “Round Stats” screens may be emailed and printed.\n\n"];
